About me
I am a psychologist, and integrative psychotherapist under supervision with a background in Clinical Neuropsychology.
My passion for understanding people, supporting them, and guiding them on their personal journey led me to study psychology. Since I was little, I was intrigued by the human mind and how it works. I used to constantly ask myself “Why did they do that?”, “What did they think about when they do that?”, “What drives our behaviour?”, and more importantly, “How can I help this person ?”. As many other mental health professionals, I started studying psychology driven by a deep need of wanting to save people. However, later on I learned that while I cannot save others, I can accompany them on their healing journey.
I moved to the Netherlands five years ago for my studies and have experienced the challenges of living in a new country. This helps me connect with expats and students in a meaningful way, offering understanding and support as they adjust to life in a new environment.
To me, psychotherapy is both an art and a science. While research and evidence-based techniques are essential, they come to life through the connection between therapist and client. The human mind is far more than a collection of diagnoses or numbers, it deserves to be approached with kindness, curiosity, and empathy. It is in this balance of knowledge and compassion that true healing begins.
